About the event
Program Content:
1. Face Reading or Physiognomy in Acupuncture is an option to further delve into specific character traits by interpreting physical and expressional properties of the face. As with Auricular Acupuncture, the face itself is a microsystem that will enhance diagnostic strategy. Examination of the face, its expressions, shape and features reveal crucial information about the character and personality of an individual. We have 43 facial muscles that can produce about 10,000 expressions. The strategy for facial character diagnosis consists of analysis of the facial structure and individual characteristics (forehead, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears and chin, etc.) and physiognomy-based interpretation. It can help identify personality traits and preferences that can help point to a more specific diagnosis from a Meridian, Organ or Extra Ordinary Vessel point of view.
2. Face Reading can be beneficial to help identify old emotional traumas that may be buried or forgotten. Many emotional and health issues are embedded in unprocessed or stuck emotional and physical childhood trauma. Facial features point to when the trauma most likely occurred. This may help add clarity to the origin of current emotional or physical issues.
Face Reading participants will learn:
· To determine the physical and emotional nature of a person, their potential for fortune, intellect, temperament, attitudes, talents and inclinations that guide behavior.
· To add to diagnostic tools for a more streamlined treatment strategy.
· To interpret signs for preventative treatment to aid in counteracting a pathology or speeding up recovery time.
· To discover and document face reading as a permanent record of life history.
