About the event
Program Content:
Auricular therapy (also known as auriculo-therapy, or ear acupuncture) is a safe and cost-effective micro-acupuncture treatment and diagnostic method. It is based upon both Traditional Chinese Medicine and neurological reflex therapies. The correspondences between specific areas of the auricle and other parts of the body are arranged in the pattern of an inverted fetus or a “map” of the whole body.
The WHO recognizes that auricular therapy can produce a positive impact on regulating the whole body, and its therapeutic effect has been investigated in a wide range of health problems, such as reducing pain, anxiety, withdrawal and addictions, migraines, insomnia, digestive issues, and many other conditions that body acupuncture can address. Modalities of auricular therapy include acupuncture, electroacupuncture, acupressure, ear lasers, moxibustion, and bloodletting in the auricle.
In this seminar, Participants will learn:
- Use auricular diagnostic method to assist treatment and clinical suggestions for patients
- Choose appropriate methods from different modalities of auricular therapy
- Use ear map to apply auricular seed therapy for treatment of commonly seen clinical conditions
- Apply ear needling and electric stimulation therapy
- Teach patient auricular self-massage method for health maintenance and longevity
