The most common oriental medicine treatment in the U.S. is acupuncture, although it is but one part of Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture is performed with thin and flexible FDA approved needles that are sterile, single-use and disposable. By inserting needles into various acupuncture points, the flow of energy is improved. Some of the sensations reported by patients during a treatment range from not noticing any difference to feeling a mild tingling. Heat treatment and ear pressballs are some of the other treatments offered with acupuncture. We offer both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture.
